Homer Donald Albert 1927 - 2006 The death of Donald A. Homer, age 79, occurred at his home, Norton, NB, on October 9, 2006. Don was the husband of the late Emma (Stackhouse) Homer and son of the late Charles and Annie (Hunter) Homer. Don is survived by sons, Bev and Darlene, Charlottetown, PE, and Greg and Kerry, Halifax; and special son, Walter Freeze, Sussex; daughters, Beatrice and Barry King, Riverview, Mary Northrup, Cathy and Blair Lyttle, both of Sussex Corner and special daughters, Tina MacNeil, Sussex, and Joyce Homer, Charlottetown, PE; grandchildren, Darren, Petrina, Teri and Stephane, Amanda, Lindsay, Danny, Donnie, Trista and Vikki; sisters, Mabel Ring and Doris Holmes, Sussex Corner and Sandra and Otty Forgrave, Southfield; brother Harry and Joanne Homer, London, ON; and special friend, Maddie Forgrave, Norton, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sisters, Dorothy Drummond and Shirley Aiton. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, with visiting Thursday, October 12, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.. Funeral service will be held from St. Andrews United Church, Norton, on Saturday, October 14, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Riverbank Cemetery.
