Rae M. (Hoyt) Harris 1917-2006 Rae Margaret Harris of Royal Court Riverview, formerly of McAuley Drive Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, October 11th 2006. Born in Haileybury, ON, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ellen (Watson) Middleton. She was predeceased by her first husband George E. C. Hoyt, by her second husband Victor M. Harris and by a grandson, Christopher R. Wishart. While living in Dorchester, NB, she served as a Worthy Matron of Harmony Chapter #29 O.E.S., was a member of Shepody Chapter I.O.D.E., and the Ladies Legion Auxiliary Br. #16. She enjoyed reading, traveling, her trailer in Amherst and was an avid bridge player. Rae retired from Transport Canada in 1983. Rae is survived by her daughters; Sylvia (Robert) Wishart, of Florenceville, NB., and Mary Ellen (Joseph) Esson of Moncton, grandsons; Dick Wishart, Sydney, Australia, Daniel Esson, Montreal, PQ., Dale Esson (Amy) and Jeffrey Esson (Julia MacNeil) both of Moncton, great grandchildren; Kyle and Summer Esson, Scott, Sean and Emma Wishart and their mother Kathy Wishart (Late Chris). A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 14, 2006 in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home, The Rev. Albert Snelgrove officiating. There will be a gathering of friends and family in the Garden View Reception room following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
