Peacefully, at the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O’Leary, on Sunday, March 8, 2009, of Cora Pearl Ramsay, formerly of Campbellton, aged 83 years, beloved wife of Fred Ramsay, Lady Slipper Villa. Born in Palmer Road, on May 10, 1925, daughter of Howard (Ted) and Emmeline (Cannon) Costain. Born again on November 9, 1961. Dear mother of Eldon (Elaine), O’Leary; Lana (Theo) Dumville, Dunblane; Robert (Dolores), Bloomfield; Zelma (Vincent) Jones, Quispamsis, N.B.; Ralph (Patricia), Campbellton; Linda (Allan) Wallace, Coleman; Arlene (Wilbert) Thibodeau, Bloomfield; Edgar (Stephanie), Campbellton, Brent (Helen), Mill Road. Mother-in-law of Brian (Verna) MacDonald, Cornwall. Cherished grandmother of 21 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Sister of Ruth Shaw, Canoe Cove; Esther Wells, Alberton; and Ken (Hazel) Costain, Woodstock. Sister- in-law of Julia Costain, Evelyn Boyles, Thelma (Lorne) Shaw, Olive Ramsay, Ruby Gillis and Calvin Ramsay. Predeceased by daughter Sybil, brothers Eldon, Howard, and Ben; sister Mildred and brother-in-law Melvin Ramsay. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral on Wednesday in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in the Rosebank Gospel Hall Cemetery. Memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Society would be greatly appreciated.
