Ruby I. Fairweather 1919 - 2006 Ruby I. Fairweather 87, of Moncton, passed away at Spencer Memorial Home, on Thursday, October 19th, 2006. Born in Gladeside, she was the daughter of the late Ora and Lucy (Lowther) Jones. Ruby was a former employee of Sears and was a member of Gladeside Baptist Church. Ruby enjoyed working with her flowers, reading, knitting mittens and socks for children and took great pride and joy spending quality time with her grand children and great grandchildren. Ruby will be sadly missed by her daughters, Phyllis Mitton, Shirley Robinson (Orville), Eleanor Boucher (Ray), all of Moncton; stepsons, Wallace Fairweather (Linda), Salisbury, Robert Fairweather (Sandra), Timber River, Stephen Fairweather, Moncton; nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren; sisters, Emily Scott, Moncton, Greta Steeves (Martin), Ella Christopher, Lower Coverdale; brother, Miley Jones, Moncton; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her first husband, Thomas H. Bowser (1958); second husband, Roy C. Fairweather (1999); brothers, Clinton, Ronald, Vernon, Miner, Elmer; sister, Hilda. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Friday, October 20th, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, October 21st, 2006, at 10:30am. Pastor Chet MacPhail officiating. Reception following the service.
