Anna M. Steeves 1916 - 2006 Cap Pele - The death of Anna Steeves, age 90, of Cap Pele, formerly of Sackville, occurred at the Dr. Georges L. DuMont Hospital on Thursday, October 26, 2006. Born in Cap Pele, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Josephine (Duguay) Donelle. Anna loved playing Bingo. Anna will be sadly missed by sons: Kenneth (Sadie) Sackville; Ronald (Susan) and Douglas (Linda) both of Hamilton, ON; Robert (Laura) Shediac; David (Marilyn) and James, both of Cap Pele, daughters; Doris (David) and Mary Ann (Fred), both of Hamilton; a special friend Gerald Cormier; a brother Henry, Cap Pele; sisters, Anita (Carl) Robertson, Dover Road and Theresa Donelle, Petit Cap; 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Talmadge, a grandson Gordon , an infant daughter and siblings, Fred, Emile and Eda. The remains have been entrusted into the care of the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (364-1300) with visitation Friday 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at the St. Vincent Roman Catholic Church, Sackville on Saturday, October 28 at 11 am., burial in the Sackville Cemetery. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
