Muriel E. Pooley 1920 - 2006 Muriel E. Pooley, of Moncton, NB passed away at The Sackville Memorial Hospital on Sunday, October 29, 2006 at the age of 86 years. Born in Moncton, NB on August 27, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Ernest E. and Anita B. (Boutlier) Mollins. Muriel's life was a testimony of strong faith in the Lord, she attended The Grace Baptist Church; she loved knitting, crocheting, painting scenery, cooking and preparing meals for family functions; she also had a great love for her cats. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Left with fond memories are her daughters, Susan Pooley with whom she resided; and Barbara Ann Sharpe of Riverview; sons, C. Douglas (Sandra) Pooley of Hartland and Brian (Adele) Pooley of Riverview; daughter-in-law, Gail (Doug) Murphy of Moncton; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Charles A. Pooley in 2000; son, William Pooley in 1993; brothers, Harry and Everett Mollins; sisters, Marjorie Stevens, Dorothy Johnson and Helen Mitton. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at The Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 2, 2006 at 11:00 am with Pastor Jason Cochran officiating. There will be a reception to follow. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. In Muriel's memory, donations may be made to The NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or to The Grace Baptist Church.
