Robert Albert (Bob) Evans, husband of the late Mur Sunday
Robert Albert Evans 1934 - 2006 The death of Robert Albert (Bob) Evans, husband of the late Muriel Evans, of Essex Street, Moncton, occurred at his residence on Sunday, November 5th, 2006. Born in Saint John on July 6, 1934, he was the son of the late George and Carolyn (Neill) Evans. For many years Bob operated Atlantic Credit Consultants as well as working at the Jones Street Flea Market on Sundays. An avid collector, he enjoyed dealing in stamps, coins, antiques and collectables. He was a Director of the Fundy Stamp Collector Club. During the 1980's, Bob was active in the speed skating community and served as President of the New Brunswick Speed Skating Association. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Air Force Vets. Bob is survived by his daughter, Karen (Rick) Belliveau of Moncton; his son, Neill (Kim) Evans of Halifax; one brother, Ted (Marilyn) Evans of Amherst; three grandsons, Scott Belliveau, Steven Belliveau and Zachary Evans; as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Muriel in 2003; and his infant daughter, Mabel Carolyn. In keeping with Bob's wishes there will not be any formal visiting hours or funeral service, however the family invites you to a Time of Remembrance on Sunday, November 12, 2006, from 2 to 4 PM at Cadman Bowness Funeral Home (857-1110) at 114 Alma Street, Moncton, NB. Cremation has taken place and interment will be in Christ Church Cemetery in Amherst.
