The death of Mae Mary Turner, age 82, of Amherst, occurred at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre in Upper Nappan on Saturday, March 7, 2009. Born in Springhill Junction, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Amelia (McGraw) Dow. Mae enjoyed knitting, crocheting, embroidering and sewing dresses. She also was an avid card player. Mae will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Dora
(Bill) Ribble of Amherst; four grandchildren, Timothey, Keith, Stacey and Ashley; brothers, sisters; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold E. Turner (2007); her two sons in infancy, Arnold and Timothey and one brother. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (667-9906).
