John Gerrit van Eden 1930 - 2006 FREDERICTON, NB - The death of John Gerrit van Eden of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday, November 10th, 2006. Born in Lewisville, NB. He was the son of the late John and Frances (Fraser) van Eden and the husband of the late Corrine (Milburn) van Eden. Survived by two sons, Jim van Eden of Lower Sackville, NS and Doug van Eden of Calgary, AB; one daughter, Beth van Eden of Fredericton, NB; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. John is also survived by three sisters, Sara Dunaway of Edmonton, AB, Joan Rogers of Moncton, NB and Willomena Ogilvie of Fredericton, NB. A family Memorial Service will be held at a future date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home.
