Grace Walters 1917-2006 Mrs. Grace Walters, wife of the late Cyril Walters, passed away on Sunday, November 12th, 2006 at the age of 89 at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home. Born in Chignecto, NS, she was the daughter of the late George and Edna (Wood) Glenwright. She is survived by her brother, Heber Glenwright (Sylvia) St. Andrews, NB; sisters, Ethel (Mrs. Donald Crowe) Listowell, ON and Jean (Mrs. Ken Burden) Kingston, NS. Grace will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her nieces, Patricia Glenwright (Costa Martino) Brampton, ON and Ruth Glenwright, Nepean, ON; nephew, Robert Glenwright (Elizabeth) and family, Taymouth, NB; dear friends, Dave Sherman and Evelyn Phinney, Moncton; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, George, Albert and William and her sisters, Hazel (Mrs. Rufus Miller) and Pearl ( Mrs. Charles Peck). Grace was a long time member of Mountain View United Church and a charter member of The United Church Women. An active volunteer for many years, she served on numerous committees in the church and gave over 1500 hours service to The Moncton Hospital. In keeping with Grace's wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home, Rev. Mary Anningson officiating. A reception will be held following the service in the Garden View Reception Room of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mountain View United Church or The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation.
