William Carter 1954-2006 KOUCHIBOUQUAC, N.B - The death of William Carter, aged 52, husband of Hilda (Hebert) Carter, occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday, November 22, 2006. Born in Chatham to the late Raymond Carter and the late Annie (Leonard) Carter. William had been employed with D.O.T Rexton on the Bridge crew. He was also a past President of the Kouchibouquac Community Center. He was also an avid sport fisherman, hunter and music lover. William is survived by his wife Hilda; daughter Amy (Mike) of Moncton; sons, Mattieu of St. Ignace, Trevor of Moncton and Micky at home; sisters, Chris (late Raymond), Donna (Scotty), Maureen (John), and Julie, all of Chatham, Joan (Bob) of Albany, N.Y, and Helen (Ed) of Powell River, B.C; brothers, Roy (Dorothy) of Moncton, Frank (Lorraine) of Kingston, On, and Jack (Lill), Ron (Linda), Ray (Janice) all of Chatham. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Thompson Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252). The resting place is the Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis-de-Kent where visiting hours will be Sunday, November 26 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at the St. James Roman Catholic Church, Kouchibouquac, on Monday, November 27, 2006 at 11 a.m. Internment will be at the Parish cemetery.
