Joseph Melvin George Thompson 1955-2006 ST. CHARLES, N.B - The death of Joseph Melvin George Thompson, 51, occurred suddenly at his home on Sunday, November 26th, 2006. Born in Rexton, he was the son of the late George Thompson and Rita (sock) Thompson. Survived by his mother of Galloway, N.B; daughter, Lynn (Tim) of Ontario; step-daughter, Carol of Moncton; sisters Bernice of Vancouver, B.C, Linda (Wally) of Shediac, Valerie (Peter) of Smith's Corner, Loraine of Moncton, and Maria (Patrick) of Fredericton; brothers, Glen (Tina) of Fredericton, Kenny (Cindy) of Grande-Digue, Michael of St. Charles, Vernon (Nicole) and Lorne both of Rexton, and Jeffery, and Wayne both of Moncton; two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Nelson in 1996. Arrangements are in the care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252) where visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 28th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m and on Wednesday, November 29th from noon until the time of the funeral.
