
Jean Marie (Romeo) Cormier
Jean Marie (Romeo) Cormier Jean Marie (Romeo) Cormier, 75, of Moncton, devoted husband and grandfather passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, November 27, 2006. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Emile and Leonie (Cormier) Cormier. Romeo attended St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church and had a long and successful career at Chrysler Canada with over 35 years of service. He was an avid sportsman, enjoying refereeing in his early years and up until recently he enjoyed curling, golfing, bowling, cards and morning coffee with the boys. Romeo always loved time spent with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Romeo will be sadly missed by his sons, Robert (Helen), Moncton; David (Mary-Lou), Charlottetown, PE; grandchildren, Nicholas and Curran, Moncton; Shawn and Katie, Charlottetown; brothers; Gerard (Maria), Ashburham, MA; Bernard, Camille (Marguerite), Moncton; sister, Lucille Randall (Alfred), Ontario; sisters-in-Law, Bertha Cormier, Ontario; Shirley Cormier, Betty Cormier, Moncton, brother-in-law; Gerard Julien, Moncton. Predeceased by his wife, Barbara (2002); brothers, Patrice, Normand, Louis, baby brother, Camille; sister, Therese. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, (858-1995) Friday, December 1, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Mass at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, Saturday, December 2, 2006, 11am. Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Reception following the Service. Interment, Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery.
