Verne C. Dickson 1920-2006 MIRAMICHI, NB - Verne Christina Dickson, wife of Ivan Dickson, of the South Napan Road, Napan, passed away at her residence on Wednesday morning, November 29, 2006, at the age of 86. Born in Center Napan, on September 1, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Osborne and Catherine (Dickson) Dickson. She was a homemaker and a Christian by faith. She is survived by her husband, Ivan; one daughter, Sharon MacDonald (Al), of St. Thomas, Ont.; two sons, Dawson Dickson (Karen), of Scarborough, Ont. and Weldon Dickson (Lorraine), of South Napan Road; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one sister, Maye Upham, of St. Stephen; one brother, Harold Dickson, of Port Alberni, B.C.; one sister- in-law, Lillian Dickson, of Miramichi; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Susan Wilson and Dorothy Dickson; two brothers, Earl and Burton Dickson. Visiting will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street, Miramichi, on Thursday evening, from 7 to 9 pm and Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday, December 2, 2006, at 11 am, conducted by William Bryant and Eric Lockhart. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Miramichi. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
