Stephen F. Ripley

Stephen F. Ripley 1925 - 2006 Stephen F. Ripley 81, of Spencer Memorial Home, and formerly of Peoples Park Tower, Moncton, with his family at his side, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, November 30th, 2006. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Frederick and Ida (Cuthberson) Ripley. Stephen was retired from # 5 Supply Depot, Department of National Defence with 37 years service. He was a member of The Moncton Wesleyan Church and was a veteran of the 2nd World War, served overseas with the North Shore Regiment, R.C. Army for 2 years. Stephen loved witnessing for the Lord and praying for people. He also enjoyed playing his harmonica and singing. Stephen will be sadly missed by his wife of 56 years, Marion (Crossman) Ripley; sons, Glenn (Maxine), Saint John, Rev. David (Gina), Brampton, ON; grandchildren, Matthew, Michelle; sisters, Joyce Forsythe (Aubrey), Moncton, Irene McCabe (John), Truro, NS, Jean Stevens, Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters, Minnie, Lillian, Beth; brothers, Percy, Milner. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Sunday, December 3rd, 2006 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Moncton Legion # 6 Memorial Service Sunday, December 3rd, 2006 at 3pm. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel Monday December 4th, 2006. 11am. Rev. Jay Guptill officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In Stephen's memory, donations to Canadian Diabetes Association, N.B.
