Betty E. Cook

Betty E. Cook 1923 - 2006 Passed away at the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville and formally of Moncton on Friday, December 1st, 2006 at the age of 83 years. Born in Moncton on October 10th, 1923, she was the daughter of the late George T. and Maise May (Smith) Rawlines. She retired from Zellers in Grand Bay, Ontario. Betty also served in the Canadian Army from 1943 to 1945. She enjoyed dancing and being with friends. Betty was predeceased by her husband, William Cook; parents; sister, Pauline Kauffman; brother, Lloyd Rawlines. Betty is survived by her sister, Muriel Geldart of Moncton; three daughters, Mary Stoddard of Fredericton, Sharon of Ontario, Diane of Ontario; and by her son, Robert of Sussex; grandson, Robert Hayward of Alberta and other grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Betty is also survived by her best friend, Roger Stamper of Moncton. Visitation will be held from Fair Haven Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 5th, 2006 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 6th, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a reception in the Gardens View Room. Burial to follow at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. The family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
