Mr. Leonard J. Lynch 1933-2006 MIRAMICHI, NB - Leonard Joseph Lynch, husband of Alice Lynch, of Riviere du Portage, Baie St. Anne, and formerly of Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Sunday evening, December 3rd, 2006, at the age of 73 Born in South Nelson, he was the son of the late Michael and Susan (Ahearn) Lynch. Prior to retirement he was the owner / operator of A&L Taxi, in Miramichi as well as a contracted employee of Canada Post Corp.; he was a member and Past President of the Chatham Lions Club and attended St. Michaels Basilica, Miramichi. He is survived by his wife, the former Alice Hay; four daughters, Christina Gilliss (Stephen), Donna McDermaid (Darrell), Sandra Daigle (Dale), all of Miramichi, Karen Thebeault (Paul), of Baie St. Anne; five sisters, Olive MacKenzie (Vince), Marie Rogers, Frances Mahoney (Gary), Doreen Lynch, Dorothy Hanley (Roy), all of Miramichi; four brothers, Lawrence (Elizabeth), Ray (Agnes), Gordon (Shirley), Lewis (Doris), all of Miramichi; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter, Catherine MacDonald; two sisters, Lina Doyle, Isabel O'Toole; two brothers, Aloysius and George Lynch. Visiting will be held at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street on Tuesday, December 5th, 2006 only, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church, Miramichi, on Wednesday, December 6th, 2006, at 11 am, conducted by Father John Fraser. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Miramichi. Please note, vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, December 5th, 2006 at 1:50 pm.
