Helena Theresa (Collins) Killam 1930-2006 Helena T. Killam, daughter of the late William Joseph Collins and Elizabeth Mary (Murphy) Collins, born September 2, 1930 at Kouchibouguac, Kent County, NB, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at The Moncton Hospital after a long illness. Helena is survived by her loving husband, Wilfred A. Killam; three sons, Wilfred L. (Susan), Stephen (Brenda), Michael (Dawnice) all of Edmonton, AB; seven grandchildren, Gregory and Stephanie of Moncton, Melanie, Mitchell, Jason, Heidi and Joshua of Edmonton, AB; one nephew, Robert (Bobby) Collins (Charlene); and a niece, Patricia (Pattsy) (Collins) Thadzi all of Moncton; three great-nephews, William & Brendon Collins, Cody Thadzi; one great-niece, Haley Thadzi; a sister, Elizabeth Collins of Kouchibouguac; a brother, Berton (Bert) Collins of Moncton, as well as a cousin Freeman Collins (Greta). Helena was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Leo Collins; a sister, Mary Collins (infant); and a granddaughter, Lori Killam (infant). Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Sunday, December 10th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm with Parish Payers at 8:30. The funeral service will be held at 4 pm on Monday, December 11, 2006 in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home, Fr. Denis Belliveau presiding. A reception for Helena's family and friends will follow the service in the Garden View Reception room of the funeral home. Interment in St. James Parish Cemetery, Kouchibouguac in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Alzheimer Society, The Canadian Cancer Society or a memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
