Colin Alexander Murray 1940 - 2006 On Thursday, November 16th, 2006, Colin Murray resident of Grovedale, passed away suddenly at his home at the age of 66. Colin was born in Batemans Mill, New Brunswick on November 10th, 1940. He graduated from Moncton High School and New Brunswick Technical Institute. Colin met Rosalyn Wood and was married in 1963, moving to Grande Prairie in 1964 where they lived until 1977. They moved to Grovedale with their children, where colin resided until his passing. Colin spent his time enjoying reading, travelling, spending time with his grandchildren and his farming. He was a friend to everyone. He retired from Canfor as a millwright in 2001 after a lengthy 29 year career. Colin is survived by his wife Rosalyn; children: Shawn (Lisa) and their children Joss, Keyton, Kamri: Megan (Chris) Hestbak and Hannah and Kathy Murray; sisters Mary Steele and Janet (Gerald) King and brother, Rob (Carole) Murray. A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 23rd, 2006 at 11am, at the Grovedale Community Hall. Memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation or STARS Air Ambulance.
