Helen A. MacNairn 1921 - 2006 MARGARETSVILLE, NS - MacNairn, Helen A., 85 Margaretsville, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 20th, 2006 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton, Nova Scotia, with loving family by her side. Born in Montreal, Quebec, she was a daughter of the late Lorne and Helen (Trites) MacKendrick. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed the time she spent with her furry, four-legged pal Chelsea. Helen was a nurse at the Moncton City Hospital, Palliative Care Unit until her retirement at age 68. Helen is survived by daughter, Jean MacNairn, Toronto, ON; sons, Brian (Linda) MacNairn, Red Deer, Mark MacNairn (Loretta Brideau), Margaretsville, Stuart (Sylvia) MacNairn, Dieppe, and Lance MacNairn, Margaretsville; sister, Eleanor; and brothers, Norman and Alan. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Oswald MacNairn; sister, Lorna and sister, Catherine in infancy; brothers, Louis, John and Teddy. Cremation has taken place and no visitation by request. The funeral service is to take place at a later date in Moncton, New Brunswick.
