Ovila LeBlanc 1915 - 2007 BOUCTOUCHE, NB - Ovila LeBlanc, 91, husband of Regina (Vautour) LeBlanc of Bouctouche, NB, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2007. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Joseph LeBlanc, and the late Alodie (Gallant) LeBlanc. Retired, Ovila had been a Construction Worker. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 30, Richibucto for 27 years. Ovila served overseas with the Canadian Army during WWII for five years. Ovila is survived by his wife, Regina; daughter, Jeanette Plourde, of Moncton; one grandson, Matthew Plourde; two brothers, Cyrus, of Bouctouche, and Edmond, of Moncton. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Yvette; and several brothers and sisters. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252) with visitation on Thursday, January 4th, 2007 from 7 to 9pm, and Friday, January 5th, 2007 from 9:00am until the time of the funeral. Funeral mass will be held from the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Rexton, on Friday, January 5th, 2007 at 11:00am.
