Yvon Joseph Durelle 1930 - 2007 BAIE STE. ANNE, NB - The death of Yvon Joseph Durelle husband of Therese (Martin) Durelle of Baie Ste. Anne, NB occurred on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at the Moncton Hospital at the age of 77. Born in Baie Ste. Anne, NB, he was the son of the late Ernest and Olida (Robichaud) Durelle. Yvon was a fisherman, Game Warden, Salesperson for both the Liquor Store and Brewery, Boxer, member of the Golden Age Club, Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 10 and Knights of Columbus and inducted into three halls of fames: Canadian, New Brunswick and the Wall of Fame. Besides his wife, Therese, Yvon is survived by two daughters, Geneva LaPierre (Ralph) of Moncton, NB, Francine Kipling (Mike) of Winnipeg, MN; two sons, Yvon Jr. (Beau) (Paulette) of Fredericton, NB, Paul (Stella) of Moncton, NB; three sisters, Helen McIntyre (Donald) of Baie Ste. Anne, NB, Corrine Pyraginie of Chicago; Lucie Durelle of Montreal, PQ; adopted sister, Stella; two brothers, Ernest (Elmire) of Baie Ste. Anne, NB, Eloie (Thelma) of Baie Ste. Anne, NB; adopted brother, Aubin Thebeault; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Steven, Erica, Chantal, Russell and Beverley; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Yvon is predeceased by brothers, Alyre and Placide; and sisters, Aurella and Patricia. The family will receive visitors at Bell's Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, then the remains will be transferred to Baie Ste. Anne where visitation will be held at Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Baie Ste. Anne on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 2pm with Father Robert Savoie officiating. In Yvon's memory, donations may be made to the Ste.
