Carmel P.Kennedy 1926-2007 MIRAMICHI, NB - Carmel Pearl Mary Kennedy, wife of John (Jack) Kennedy, of Stanley Street, Miramichi, passed away at the Moncton City Hospital, on Sunday, January 14, 2007, at the age of 80. Born in Upper Napan, on January 23, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Courtney and Mary (Cripps) Phee. She was a homemaker and attended St. Michaels Basilica, Miramichi. She is survived by her husband, John (Jack) Kennedy; one daughter, Colleen Veniot (Stephen), of Bathurst; two sons, Paul Kennedy, of Fredericton and John Kennedy (Carol), of Truro, N.S.; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Brett), Jackie (Trevor)and Laura; two sisters, Jean MacDonald and Anna Power (Thomas), all of Miramichi; one brother, Edward Phee (Kay), of Miramichi; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Mona Flynn, May Flanagan and Helen Sullivan; three brothers, Hollie, Jackie and Courtney Phee. Visiting will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street, on Tuesday only, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Michaels Basilica, on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, at 11 am, conducted by Father John Fraser. Interment will be in St. Michaels Cemetery, Miramichi, later in the spring. Please note, vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon, at 1:50 pm.
