Norman E. Dickson
Norman E. Dickson 1929-2007 MIRAMICHI, NB - Norman Elmer Dickson, husband of Susan Dickson, of Princess Street, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Sunday, January 14th, 2007, at the age of 77. Born in Upper Napan, he was the son of the late Elmer J. and Susan E. (Murdock) Dickson. He was a retired employee of Lounsbury Co. Ltd. (Auto Sales Dept.); a former employee of Campbell Enterprises Ltd., of Napan. He was a member of St. Andrews United Church, Miramichi; a former elder and member of Session; a former member of the Board of Stewards; a member of the Miramichi Chapter of the Highland Society. He is survived by his wife, the former Susan Bosence; two daughters, Sheila Higgins (Brian), of Los Altos, California, USA and Paula Blair (Jeffery), of Kingston, Ont.; one son, Tony Dickson (Shelly), of Miramichi; six grandchildren; one sister, Helen Jardine, of Napan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Paul A. Dickson; two sisters, Stella McIntosh and Marjorie Taylor; one brother, James Dickson. Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street, Miramichi, on Wednesday, January 17th, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Thursday, January 18th, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from St. Andrews United Church, on Friday, January 19th, 2007, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. David Cleveland. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Andrews United Church, the C.F. Foundation, or any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
