Jean-Guy Richard MEMRAMCOOK, NB- Jean-Guy Richard of Dover Rd, Dieppe passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on January 17th, 2007 at the age of 47. Born in Sackville, he was the son of the late Camille Richard and the late Antoinette LeBlanc. He worked as a custodian at Mathieu-Martin High School and Abbey Landry School. He was a recipient of a kidney transplant (2002) and was member of the support group for kidney transplant recipient and Kidney Foundation. He was an avid baseball player for many years. He is survived by his common-law wife Diane (Landry) Cormier and her son Remi; two sons, Donald Richard of Moncton and Mathieu Richard of St-Joseph; five sisters, Jeannine Johnson of Moncton, Carmelle (Larry) Johnson of Sackville, Elianne (Gilles) Richard, Suzanne (Robert) Richard and Patricia Richard all of Moncton; three brothers, Armand (Linda) Richard of Cap Pele, Fernand (Diane) Richard of Pre-D'en-Haut and Ronald Richard of Moncton; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one infant sister, Marie Alice; and by one brother, Donald. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, 15 Rte La Vallee, Memramcook on Saturday January 20th, 2007 from 9:30 to 11:00 am and followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be held at the St-Thomas de Memramcook cemetery. Arrangement is in care of Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook.
