Julia Fillmore
Julia Fillmore SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Julia Fillmore, age 76, of Sackville occurred suddenly at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Sunday, January 21st, 2007. Born in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Alan and Julia (Boss) Reidpath. Julia was an avid antique collector and seller for over 50 years. She was well known in the antique world and auction circuits. She had the first yard sale in Eastern Canada in 1973. Julia will be sadly missed by two sons, Larry (Coralie), Point de Bute, and Brent (Terry), Edmonton, AB; two daughters, Frances (Kenny), Fredericton, NB and Nancy (Mark) Schneider, Kamloops, BC; nine grandchildren, Chris (Jessica), Jeff, Cassandra, Sean, Kenny (Gail), Danny (Sari), Nancy (Brent), Jamie (Sarah) and Zane; four great grandchildren, Tyler, Amanda, Matthew and Joshua; two brothers, Merrin (Irene), Main River, NB and Vernon (Mary), Rexton, NB; two sisters, Olga (Bill) Chivers, Burlington, ON and Alaine (Victor) Bastow, White Rock, BC; and over 50 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ken in 2005; and by brothers, Raymond and Eric; and by her sister, Yvonne. The remains have been forwarded for cremation under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (364-1300). The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 24th from 3 to 7pm. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 25th at 11 am, Pastor Morice Mills officiating. Burial will be in the Sackville Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rockport United Church or a charity of the donor's choice. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
