It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Bernice Power, age 52, of Outer Cove, former Town Clerk of The Town of Logy Bay Middle Cove Outer Cove on March 6, 2009. In Heaven, waiting the arrival of their youngest child are her parents John and Mary Power, Brothers: infant Gerald, Gerald (Ocean Ranger), Ronald, and brother-in-law George Holwell. Left to celebrate her life are her brothers and sisters: Kay (Gerry Fewer), Jim (Anne Lynch), Anne (George Holwell, deceased), Nix (Fae), Mary (Alex Field), Frances (Ted Williams), Gordon, Donna Codner, Delores (Kevin Roche); numerous nieces and nephews; Aunts and Uncle: Lizzie Cahill, James Hickey (Loretta), Betty Hickey, and Kay Hickey; Sister-in-law: Gloria Power; Brother-in-law: Arnold Codner, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation on Sunday and Monday from 12 noon to 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009 at 10 a.m. from St. Francis of Assisi Church, Outer Cove. Cremation to follow.
