Claude Wilbur Copp
Claude Wilbur Copp 1916-2007 Claude Wilbur Copp, 90, of Kenneth Spencer Memorial Home passed away peacefully on February 24, 2007 at the nursing home. Claude was born in Waterside, on August 6, 1916, the son of the late Roy Harley Copp and Stella May (Wilbur) Copp. He was a war veteran of World War II, serving overseas. He was retired from the Canadian Pacific Railway. Claude was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors. He will be sadly missed by his granddaughter Cathi Frenette of Thunder Bay, Ontario and by his sister Ramona Tolhurst of Calgary; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife Pauline (Sharpe) Copp ; son Gary Copp; sisters Alfretta Martin (Grover) and Louise Matheson (Douglas); brother-in-law Kenneth Tolhurst. He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with a time of visitation for his family and friends on Monday, February 26, 2007 from 2 to 3pm. A graveside service will be in the Cedar Hill Greenwood Cemetery, Saint John on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at 2pm.
