William John Augustine RED BANK, N.B. - The death of William John Augustine of Red Bank, NB, husband of the late Susan (Clare) Augustine occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at the age of 70. Born in Red Bank, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Metallic) Augustine. Survived by six stepdaughters, Margaret Peters of Indian Island, NB, Catherine Itwaru (Walter) of Sudbury, On, Rita Labelle of Red Bank, NB, Betty Ann Haddad (Marcel) of Curventon, NB, Mary Dale Francis (Ronald) of Eel Ground, NB and Noella Ward (Gerald) of Calgary, AB; three step sons, Joseph Haddad (Brenda) and Thomas Haddad (Jamie) all of Sudbury, ON and Anthony Haddad (Mary) of Red Bank, NB; four sisters, Madeline Augustine (James), Marion Sappier, Elizabeth Powell and Annie Mae Morrison (Norman) all of Red Bank, NB; three brothers, Aloysius (Monica) of Red Bank, NB, Robert (Gert) of Warren Main USA and Howard of Red Bank, NB; 26 step grandchildren, 36 step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one sister Mary Jane Metallic. Visitation will be held at Meadows Funeral Home on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and on Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 21, 2007 at 11 AM from St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church , Red Bank with Father Dan Melanson officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. In William's memory a donation may be made to the memorial of ones choice.
