Flossie Brown SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Flossie Brown, age 83, widow of Murray Brown, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Thursday, June 14, 2007, following a lengthy illness. Born in Port Howe, NS, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Isabelle (Cooper) Williams. Formerly employed with Mount Allison for 16 years. She was an avid Bingo player, and devoted most of her life to her family. Flossie will be sadly missed by a son, George (Dayna), Sackville; four daughters, Patricia (Kenneth) Holmes and Gloria (Donald) Courneyea, both of Sackville, Tammy, Port Elgin, NB and Ellen (Richard) Cameron, Westlock, AB; seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three sisters, Marg (Charles) Metz, Springhill, Dorothy Schurman, Judique, NS and Jean Colborne, Oxford, NS. She was predeceased by her husband Murray in 1991. She was predeceased by three brothers, Stan, George and Laurie. Flossie's remains have been entrusted into the care of the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300) with visitation Friday from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at 11 am. Burial in the Sackville Cemetery.
