Eveline M. Kearns 1926 - 2007 Eveline Kearns passed away peacefully, on Saturday, June 16th 2007 at Pro Tem Health Services, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Ste. Anne de Kent on October 23rd, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Sarah Richard. Eveline worked for the National Parole Board for many years. Following her retirement, she was an active volunteer with the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Meals on Wheels, Canadian Mental Health Association, and the Canadian Red Cross Blood Drive. Eveline is survived by her daughter, Lisa Cox (Jon) of Waverley, NS; sisters, Lina Daigle (late Alphonse), Ella Raymond (late Herve), Emerise Richard, Yvette Robichaud (Zoel); cherished grandson, Benjamin Cox; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be missed by her many close friends. In addition to her parents, Eveline was predeceased by her husband George Kearns. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 19th at Ste. Therese Church, Dieppe, Fr. Paul Breau presiding. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. A reception for Eveline's family and friends will follow the service in the Club D'age D'or, Dieppe. Memorial donations in memory of Eveline may be made to a charity of one's choice.
