Roland C. Lewis "Comet" SALISBURY, NB - The passing of Roland C. Lewis of Salisbury, occurred at the Birch Haven Retirement Home in Lakeville, N.B., on June 19th at the age of 75. He was retired from CNR with 30 years as a signal maintainer and was a member of the brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen. He enjoyed golfing, curling, bingo and playing crib. He delivered meals to seniors and loved the game of hockey. He is survived by two sons, Brent and Barry of Toronto; and one daughter, Tammy McBrine (Stewart) of East Glassville, N.B.; four grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas, Megan and Travis. Survived by three sisters, Ruth Riddle, Hilda Sears (Jerry), Joy Haley; and one brother, Melvin (Dianne). In addition to his parents, Clarence and Daphna (Reade); he was predeceased by brothers, Donald and Reade; and sister, Kathleen. Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday, June 22nd, 2007 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Saturday, June 23rd, 2007 at 2:00 O'clock with Rev. Carol Mullin officiating with burial to follow at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Donations to the Lung Association or the MS Society would be appreciated by the family.
