Doris A. Wilson Doris A. Wilson, 80, of Moncton and formerly of Parlee Beach, with members of her family at her side, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Saturday, June 23, 2007, following a lengthy illness. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Robinson and Viola (Douthwright) Steeves. Doris was a former employee of the T. Eaton Co. Ltd. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, reading, crossword puzzles, baking and in later years was an avid swimmer who learned to swim even though she was paralyzed. However, her family were first and foremost. Doris will be sadly missed by her husband of over 63 years, Gerald (Gerry) C. Wilson; daughter, Judy Bois (Mike), Riverview; sons, Terry (Frances), Stephen (Rita), both of Moncton; grandchildren, Shelley, Paul, David, Kris, Treena and Tanya; great grandchildren, Randy Joe, Samantha and Deven, Grady, Brittany, Courtney and Lindsey; brother, Norman (Norm) Steeves (Lil), Moncton; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Robert (Bob). Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd., Moncton (858-1995), Tuesday, 2 to 4, 7 to 9. Funeral service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, June 27, 2007 11 am, Pastor Rick Thomas officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
