Frances Caroline Hargreaves 1915 - 2007 OXFORD, NS - Frances Caroline Hargreaves, 91, Oxford, N.S., passed away Wednesday, June 27 in All Saints Hospital, Springhill, N.S. Born in Hillsborough in 1915, she was the second daughter of the late Edward and Laura (Steeves) Irving. She is survived by her daughters and their families, Lynne (Donald) Mersereau, Fredericton, Wendy (Keith) Hunter, Oxford; granddaughter, Emily Frances (Rev. Jonathan) Rowe, Heart's Delight, NL.; grandsons, Thomas (Charlene) Mersereau, Winnipeg, James (Lori) and Stephen Mersereau, both of Fredericton; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Alyssa, Michael, Jennifer, Jessica and Joshua Mersereau, and Frances Rowe. She is also survived by her sisters, Questa Layton and Aletha Jonah, both of Hillsborough; brothers, Guy Irving, Hillsborough, Paul Irving, Riverview. She was predeceased by her husband, Welsford Thomas Hargreaves; sisters, Marion Bray and Hazel Taylor. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, July 1 in MacDiarmid's Funeral Home, 5075 Main Street, Oxford (902-447-2930). Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 2 in All Souls' Anglican Church, James Street, Oxford, with the Rev. Kathryn Cook and the Rev. Jonathan Rowe officiating.
