Alfreda Soontiens 1942 - 2007 Alfreda Soontiens, 65, of Moncton, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, July 4, 2007. Born April 17, 1942 in Bouctouche, she was the beloved daughter of Hermilia (Collette) and the late Alfred Melanson. Step-daughter of Alfred Brun. Alfreda will be sadly missed by her two loving daughters, Tanya Santucci (Mike) and Lisa Scott (Tim) both of Moncton; her four precious grandchildren, Tia, Morgan, Lucky, and Bruno; three sisters, Andréa Petitpas, Lucie Connell, Denyse Melanson; three brothers, Gérald, Roger, and Yvon Melanson; many nieces, nephews, and friends. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street,Moncton (858-1900), Father Bernard Sloan officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
