Vaughan C. Hopper Vaughan C. Hopper, 80 of Moncton passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Thursday July 5, 2007. Born in Waterside, Albert Co. he was the son of the late Herbert and Vesta (Kennie) Hopper. Vaughan retired from the Lounsbury Company Ltd. in 1981, where he was Store Manager and Director of the company throughout his 35 years of service. He served in Sackville, Bathurst and Moncton. Throughout his life his passion was for the out of doors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and gardening. Vaughan will be sadly missed by his wife of 60 years, Elda (Dobson) Hopper; daughter, Brenda McFarlane, Dieppe; sister, Beulah Newson (Elmer), Summerside PE; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Verna Hopper and an infant sister. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Sunday 2 to 4.
