Paul Mainville 1923-2007 Paul Mainville, 83, of Moncton passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton following a brief illness. Born September 23, 1923 in Montréal, Québec, he was the son of the late Raoul and Oméline (Beaudet) Mainville. Mr. Mainville was employed with Eastern Bakeries prior to his retirement. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Éliza (Melanson) Mainville; four children, Louise, Monique, Murielle Assels (Carter) and Roland all of Moncton; eight grandchildren, Martin, Chantal, Jacques, Marc, Christopher, Jean, Julie and Marie Anne. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by his daughter, Odette (2002); a sister, Collette; and by three brothers, Roger, Aimé and Julien. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 88 Church St., Moncton (858-1900) on Sunday, from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Monday, from 9:30a.m. until time of departure 10:10a.m. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30a.m. on Monday, July 16, 2007 at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Roman Catholic Church, Murphy St., Moncton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dieppe.
