Melanie Chamberlain 1908 - 2007 Melanie Chamberlain, 99, of Villa du Repos, Moncton, passed away on Saturday, July 21st, 2007 at her residence. Born in Shippagan, NB, she was the daughter of the late Mathias and the late Marguerite (née: Noel) Chiasson. She is survived by three daughters, Therese (Walter) Ciechon of Virgina Beach, Opal Chamberlain and Zita Preston, both of Moncton; one son, Guy (Norma) of Moncton; 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; as well as by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin in 1944; one daughter, Marie; and also by one sister, Clara. Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB 857-1901, on Monday, July 23rd, 2007 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Tuesday from 9:30 am until time of service. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Notre Dame-de-la-Paix Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 24th, 2007 at 10:30 am.
