John Cruickshank CANAAN, NB - John Cruickshank, 83, of Canaan, passed away Monday, July 23, 2007 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Scotland, he was the son of the late Thomas and Mary Ann (O'Brien) Cruickshank. John was a hardworking man, having drove truck for various companies throughout his career. He is survived by his wife, June (Alward); daughters, Eleanor Black (Stuart) of Barrie, On, Caroline Haevens (Greg) of Hunter's Home, Kathy Weir (Ricky) of Petitcodiac; sons, Reid (Anne) of Salem, Murray (Anne) of Moncton, Tony (Helen) of Riverview, David (Nancy) of Havelock, Todd (Donna) of Cap Pele; brother, William (Sally) of Springhill, NS; 27 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Jim; sisters, Louise, Christina, Charlotte. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac, where visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at New Canaan Baptist Church on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 2 pm, Pastors Holmes and Hicks officiating.
