Ivan Harris Dobson 1927 - 2007 AMHERST, NS - It is with deep regret and sadness we announce the passing of Ivan Harris Dobson on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre in Upper Nappan, N.S. Born in Little Shemogue, N.B., on May 1, 1927, he was a son of the late Richard and Bessie (Ibbitson) Dobson. Ivan is survived by his loving wife, the former Marjorie Stephens; his daughters, Anne (Howie) Lee of Dewdney, BC, and Marion (Garnet) Burns of Shubenacadie, N.S.; son, Brian (Veronica) Dobson of Midgic, N.B.; his three beloved granddaughters, Katie and Abby Lee and Jacklyn Dobson; sisters, Elda Hopper of Moncton, N.B. and Nellie (Curry) Gould of Amherst; brother, Harold (Nancy) Dobson of Liverpool, N.S.; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Ivan was predeceased by his brother, Warren; and sister, Vera Dexter. His remains are resting in Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst N.S., (902-667-9906) with visiting on Friday, July 27, 2007 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2007 at 3 p.m. from Campbell's Chapel with Rev.
