Doris Pearl (nee Granville) Blakely 1924 - 2007 CALGARY, AB - Doris Blakely of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, July 28th, 2007 at the age of 83 years. She is survived by her husband, Marven of 59 years; four children, Diana (Barry) Potter, Dale (Maggie), Kevin (Fran), and Brent; seven grandchildren, Christopher (Holly), Shelley, Bonnie (Dino), Jerrod, Scott, Caroline and Michael, all of Calgary; three great-grandchildren, Chloe, Natalie and Brooke Potter. Doris was predeceased by her sister, Frances' and her parents, Bertha O'Dell and Berton Granville. A Celebration of Doris' Life will be held at St. Thomas United Church, 100 Hawkwood Blvd. NW, Calgary on Wednesday, August 1st, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. Her cremated remains will be placed in the Range Cemetery, Chipman, NB at a later date.
