Doris M. Maillet 1936-2007 Doris Maillet, 71, wife of Léo Maillet of Pointe-du-Chêne passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Sunday, August 5, 2007 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Saint John, New Brunswickon January 11, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Antoine and Amanda (Melanson) Bourque. Doris spent many of her formative years in southern California. Following her retirement, she spent her summers with family in New Brunswick and winters in Florida. Doris is survived by her husband of fifty years, Léo; and their children, Carol Jaillet (Robert) and David (Jan) all of Florida, and Gary (Gale) of Newfoundland; her sisters, Géraldine Breau (late Norman) and Yvonne Léger (Victor) all of Dieppe, Amanda Babineau (Guy) of Scoudouc; her brother, Paul Bourque (Eva-Mae) of Dieppe; her grandchildren, Melissa Allen (Jason), Joshua Jaillet, Jeremy, Joel and Kaelan Maillet; and her first great grandchild, Madison Allen; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be missed by her many close friends and relatives. Besides her parents, Doris was predeceased by her brother, Gerald Bourque. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Tuesday, from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Wednesday, from 10a.m. until time of departure (10:50a.m.). Funeral Mass will be held at 11a.m. on Wednesday, August 8th, 2007 at Saint-Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac.
