Lloyd David Dobson 1919-2007 SHEMOGUE, NB - Lloyd David Dobson, 88, of Shemogue passed away surrounded by his loving family at the Moncton Hospital, Moncton on Thursday, August 16th, 2007 following a long battle with Parkinson's disease. Born in Shemogue, April 15th, 1919, he was the son of the late David and Henrietta (Brien) Dobson. Prior to his retirement, Lloyd was a farmer and a school bus driver. He was a 3rd degree life member of the Knights of Columbus in Amherst, N.S. and attended St. Timothée Roman Catholic Church in Shemogue. He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Ann (LeBlanc) Dobson, and their children, Daphna Harris (George) of Houlton, Maine, Gary (Susan) of Fredericton, and Barry (Monique) of Shemogue; eight grandchildren, Kathryn, Thomas, Alexander, Christopher, Kayla, Lucas, Ryan, Logan and by several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by his sisters and brothers, Daphna, Kathleen, Frona, Lola, Leslie, and Gaius. Mr. Dobson will be resting at his residence at 5843, Route 15, Shemogue, N. B. on Friday, August 17th, from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Saturday, August 18th, from 9a.m. until time of departure. The funeral mass will be held at 10:30a.m. on Saturday, August 18th, 2007 at St. Timothée Roman Catholic Church, Shemogue. Interment will be in Cap-Pelé.
