Lionel Maillet

Lionel Maillet 1916 - 2007 ST-ANTOINE, NB - Lionel Maillet, 91, passed away at Foyer St-Antoine on Thursday, August 23, 2007. Born in Ste-Marie he was the son of the late Antoine and Marie-Jeanne (Babineau) Maillet. He was a Veteran of the Second World War having served his country with the Royal Canadian Army and was a member of the Notre-Dame Golden Age Club. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Léda (Melanson) Maillet; one daughter, Adrienne (Roméo) LeBlanc of Notre-Dame; one son, Paul of Notre-Dame; one sister, Lina LeBlanc of Ste-Marie; two brothers, Gérard (Roseline) of St-Antoine, Alderice (Laurise) of Irishtown; and by two grandsons, Daniel and Richard. He was predeceased by two sisters, Maria and Irène; five brothers, Ernest, Jean-Baptiste, Yvon, and Rev. P. Alfred Maillet, and Edouard (Edde). Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, Main St., St-Antoine (525-2855) with visitation on Sunday 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm., on Monday from 10am until time of departure (10:45am). The funeral mass will celebrated at 11am on Monday, August 27, 2007 at Notre-Dame-de-Kent Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
