John (Bone) Martin 1931 - 2007 CAMPBELLTON, NB - Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on August 23, 2007 at the age of 76, Mr. John (Bone) Martin. Born in Montreal on August 8, 1931, he was the son of the late William Patrick Martin and the late Emma Condo. John worked as a DJ at the radio station CHRQ for 16 years. He served in the American Army for a period of two years, was a member of the Listuguj American Veterans and liked to listen to country music. He leaves to mourn his wife, Rita Martin; his daughters, Joanne Martin of Worcester, Mass., Margie Vallee (Doug) Leicester, Mass., Dolly Martin Olathe, KS, Bernice Martin Listuguj, QC, Gail Sark (Willie) Eel Ground, NB and Amanda Martin of Listuguj, QC; his son, John Peter Martin of Listuguj, QC (passed away on August 24th); his sisters, Bernice Martin, Margie (Bulmer) Martin and Dolly Martin; his brothers, Alfred Condo Martin, Wallace Elie Martin (Moon), William Patrick Martin Jr. and Matthew Martin. Also survived by 22 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers, Albert Daniel Martin (Slim) and Walter Martin. The funeral mass will be held from Ste-Anne's Church Listuguj tomorrow, Tuesday August 28th at 2 pm. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
