Aurele (Oscar) Leger
Aurele (Oscar) Leger MEMRAMCOOK, NB - Aurele Leger of Foyer St-Thomas passed away at the Foyer on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at the age of 92. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Alfred Leger and the late Malvina Gaudet. He worked as a Bus Driver for S.M.T. He was a veteren of the second world war and was a Legion member of Branch # 89 Memramcook. He is survived by three daughters, Doris (Bill) Day-Luce of Grand Barachois, Mary (Pat) Fournier of Dartmouth, N.S., Denise (Sharon, long time friend) Leger of Moncton; three sisters, Sylvie and Aline Leger of Dieppe, Marie (late Arthur) LeBlanc of Memramcook; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine (LeBlanc) Leger (1989); four sisters, Geneva, Catherine, Celina LaViolette, Catherine LeBlanc; one brother, Victor Leger. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, 15 Rte La Vallee, Memramcook on Wednesday, September 5 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Thursday September 6 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church, St-Joseph on Thursday, September 6 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
