Horst A. Kastel AULAC, NB - Horst A. Kastel age 74, of Aulac, New Brunswick passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Center, Upper Nappan, N.S. Born in Bruchhausen, Germany he was a son of the late Adolph and Maria Kastel. He worked as a mechanic for 25 years in Montreal with Midtown Motors. Horst also worked for Fisher Honda in Amherst and retired from Oxford Frozen Foods in 1998. He is survived by his wife the former Viola White; step daughter Sharron Rampersad of London, ON; two brothers Paul and Hermann (Rita) both of Montreal; sister Erika (Eric) Heinig of Karlsruhe, Germany, sister in law Margot Kastel of Montreal; step grandchildren Charles (Marie-Eve) Rampersad and Catharine Rampersad both of Toronto and several nieces and nephews. Horst was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 10 a.m. from Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst with Deacon Howard Gotell officiating.
