Ronald Long 1927-2007 POINTE-DU-CHÊNE, NB - Ronald Long, 79, of Pointe-du-Chêne passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at the Moncton Hospital, Moncton following a lengthy illness. Born September 21, 1927 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Raymond and Delta (Wilson) Long. Ronald was employed with C.N.R. for 37 years prior to his retirement in 1982. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Rachel (St. James) Long; a daughter, Diane Murphy (Michael) of California; a son, David Petit-Clerc of Edmonton, AB; one granddaughter, Danielle and a great grandson, Austin. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. Interment will be in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shediac. In Ronald's memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
