Clarence LeBlanc
Clarence LeBlanc 1920-2007 SHEDIAC, NB - Clarence LeBlanc, 87, of the Villa Providence, Shediac, and formerly of Dupuis Corner passed away at the Villa Providence on Friday, October 12, 2007. Born February 8, 1920, in Sackville, he was the son of the late Alphée and Zoë (Lirette) LeBlanc. He served with the Royal Canadian Army during W.W.II, and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 91, and a member of the Golden Age Club in Cap Pelé. Prior to his retirement, Clarence was a custodian for School District #11 and a fisherman. He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Bernadette LeBlanc (Donald Beaulieu) of Shediac, Carolyn Robichaud (Bob Steeves) of Moncton; a son, Donnie (Betty) of N.W.T.; a sister, Annie Landry (Edmond) of Shediac; two brothers, Albert (Florine) of Moncton, Ovila (Eva) of Grand-Barachois; eight grandchildren; and by fourteen great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie (Léger) LeBlanc (1994); two sons, Victor and infant Hector; two sisters, Marie Ouellette and Alice Doiron; and by a brother, Angus. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Tuesday, from 2 to 4p.m., and 7 to 9p.m., and Wednesday, from 9a.m. until time of departure at (9:40a.m.). Funeral mass will be held at 10a.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at St. Henri Roman Catholic Church in Grand-Barachois.
