Paul Joseph Gallant 1927 - 2007 Paul Joseph Gallant, of Riverview, passed away with family by his side at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, October 26, 2007 at the age of 80 years. Born in Puisville, PE on June 29, 1927 he was the son of the late Charles and Julienne Gallant. Paul started his career with Byron Dobson in 1946, then worked as a building contractor for a number of years. In later years he worked with Riverview Truck and Repair where he officially retired in 1999. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed the outdoors, and above all he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, of 50 years Betty; daughters, Candace (Gary) Aguinaga, Bev Gallant, and Judy (Ron) Barter all of Riverview; son Jeff (Lori) Gallant of Georgetown, ON; sisters, Rita (Cliff) Gallant of Aurora, ON, Zena (Arnold) Arsenault of PE, Diane (Gerry) O'Connell of PE, Erma (Wilf) Desroche of ON, Gloria Maillet of ON; brother - in law, Gerry Martin of ON; ten grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sisters, Bertha Martin and Anne Marie Gallant, also by his brother, Kevin Gallant. Resting at The Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. with visitation on Sunday October 28, 2007 from 7:00 to 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at The Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, October 29, 2007 at 11:00am with father Phil Mulligan officiating.
